Overbrook Caravan Park is a peaceful, adults-only park nestled in the picturesque village of Thornton le Dale, which holds a small green with an ancient market cross and stocks. Soak in the scenery from your position in the fertile, quintessentially British landscapes of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and enjoy the unrivalled tranquillity around, devoid of crying babies, screaming tots, or rambunctious kids thundering past your pitch at all hours of the day. The campsite itself rests on an old railway station of which the line is no longer in use. Overbrook Park holds a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, set out in a natural landscape sprinkled with trees, mature shrubs and flowerbeds throughout, offering campers a green and restful place to unwind. All touring plots are hardstanding with 16amp electric hook-ups and vary in length. Campers are advised to add in the total shipping length of their touring vehicles, alongside A-frames, bike racks and boxes to ensure the most suitable pitch is assigned. Facilities include a newly renovated toilet and shower block with hot water, a pot washing area, a laundry room, drinking water points, chemical disposal, and free Wi-FI access. Well-behaved canine companions are most welcome.
