Hazel Brow Farm Campsite is a sheltered, friendly site spread out in a spacious orchard across from the from a lovely farm in the Yorkshire Dales. This beautiful quiet site welcomes tents, campervans and motorhomes and offers both grass and hardstanding pitches without electric hookups. Sit back in you roomy plots, and take in the sights and sounds of the calm countryside around and feel the stress and strain of everyday life melt away. The site rests in the valley below the village and affords a wealth of walking and cycling paths just over the gleaming River Swale that runs right from the park. For hiking adventures climb rolling hills by cutting across lush fields and savour spectacular sceneries, or follow the campsites own footpath that winds down to the glittering river. Explore the ruins of Easby Abbey and a Norman-era castle in Richmond or stock up on local produce, snacks and meats for a sizzling barbeque back at the site. The site welcomes tents, campervans and motorhomes. Site facilities are basic yet entirely sufficient for your stay and include a toilet block and a mains water supply. End a day of eventful sightseeing with a sing-along around the crackling campfire as marshmallows brown, and the stars sparkle above. Switch the dreary nine-to-five for open green spaces, fresh countryside air, and rolling hills at Hazel Brow Wild Camping, a splendid campsite nestled on a traditional working farm, tucked away in the greenery of the Yorkshire Dales. The site also provides campers with the chance to sign up for a hands-on, interactive way of learning about farming. A wealth of activities on offer include Heritage Farm Tours, goose herding, sheep racing and all-weather archery lessons. Hazel Brow Wild Camping is a back to basics, peaceful site nuzzled on the fringes of a sleepy village, enveloped by the rolling greenery of the countryside. This site is the perfect place for guests who want a change from the high-density commercial parks in favour of uncrowded camping space, splendid vistas and a wealth of local wildlife in a rural location. The site also serves as a wildlife habitat, attracting creatures of all shapes and sizes. A limited number of pitches ensure the freedom to soak in the natural beauty undisturbed by blaring evening entertainment and the sounds of a packed campsite. The friendly owners are more than happy to encourage campfire, so go ahead and settle around the crackling flames whenever the mood arises. Dogs must remain on a lead at all times as there is livestock in the field.
