The site lies sandwiched between Harrogate and Ripon, and holds three unique, beautifully handcrafted yurts, tucked away on a tranquil haven looking out over a gleaming lake with a few resident swans. Your camping space is created with care and positioned in such a way to ensure minimal disturbance paired with oodles of natural beauty. The yurts are evenly spread out in a viewsome meadow with an abundance of living space between them for the ultimate relaxation. Escape the stress and distractions of everyday life in these elegantly furnished, well-appointed abodes, complete with comfortable beds and futons. Expect a range of creature comforts that surpass traditional tent camping, including Egyptian cotton bedding, throws, sheepskin rugs and everything else required for a swish camping experience. Enjoy off-grid living in the yurts, which uses lanterns, torches and candles together with the amber glow of the wood-burning stove. Fire pits and barbeques are an added delight for magical camping stays. Owner Tom Sterne set up the campsite after falling in love with Masai Mara in Kenya. Sorry, the site does not allow pets on the premises.
