Hooks House Farm Campsite rests in a stunning area of Robin Hoods Bay, steeped in mystery and romance. The picturesque old fishing village has no links to the renowned green-clad hero of Sherwood Forest yet provides both adults and children alike with a splendid place to dive into history and explore a true gem on the Yorkshire Coastline. The friendly, family-run campsite on Hooks House Farm rests high up on a hill above the town, providing first-rate vistas from grass fields that gently slope towards the sparkling ocean. Even though the bay is highly scenic, it does not have a beach to tempt kids or sunbathers. The dark and rocky ground is best suited for exploring rock pools, fossil hunting, and bracing walks. Sit back on a deck chair, sip on a cold bevvy and watch the tide wash in over the entire stretch of coastline, or dreamily gaze out at mist-clad moors, woods, rolling hills, and emerald fields sprinkled with grazing sheep and cows. The site holds a blend of grass and electric pitches with optional electric meters for tents and touring vehicles. Standard facilities like a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, drinking water points, gas exchange, a communal fridge with freezer, chemical disposal, and Wi-Fi are available. Pets are welcome.
