Owners John and Julia have turned half of their spacious farm into the beautiful Humble Bee Farm campsite which provides campers with a special place to retire at the end of an eventful day of sightseeing. Nestled in a peaceful valley amid the stunning Yorkshire Wolds, this lovely, quiet site is fringed by a vivid display of mignonette, bellflowers, harebells and other wildflowers that are lovingly tended to as part of the site's commitment to preserving the local wildlife. The bright flowers sway in the gentle winds creating a natural feel, and it quickly becomes apparent that this site is indeed a special place to unwind. Blend the joys of camping with a host of mod cons at this well-equipped campsite that offers wigwams, bell tents, and nomadic yurts. The owners have made notable additions to keep the young ones entertained. Munchkins are welcome to collect free-range eggs from the hen house for breakfast and learn about farm life on themed weekends and nature events. Two cute free-range pygmy goats are certain to come trotting by for a nose around the lodgings. All units are heated and come equipped with mattresses, and a range of creature comforts. A barbeque pit and picnic tables afford delightful alfresco meals for all.
