Helwith Bridge Campsite is a small, friendly campsite attached to a lively little pub, and welcomes guests to pitch or park up for free in the spacious pub car park on one straightforward condition – patronize the pub. Ten non-electric grass pitches share access to a well-maintained field with a water tap. Campers are welcome to use the toilets in the pub; however, the thoughtful owners have also included a handy outhouse with one bathroom and a sink with hot water, open 24 hours and ideal for when the pub is closed. Enjoy hearty meals, beer and ales at the pub, located a convenient staggering distance from the pitches, and treat yourself to enormous portions of fresh, delicious food cooked by the landlady. Dogs are welcome.
