Gordale Scar Camp Site is one such campsite, ideally positioned for exploring the rugged and raw side of camping in an iconic English area. There are 60 spacious tent pitches, evenly spaced out around the face of Gordale Scar's sheer cliffs, which are easily accessible via a clear pathway extending a quarter of a mile's distance from the campsite. Sparkling and thundering waterfalls that cut through the rock surface of the Scar trickle past the grounds in the form of Gordale Beck, dividing the camping space into two areas. Animal lovers and the youngest campers can make friends with a flock of sheep which roam freely around the site, often trotting over to have a nose around the guests. Do keep an eye out for sheep poo.
