Seat House Caravan Club is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated campsite, providing campers with a compact, tranquil and viewsome base to enjoy the delights of green open spaces, fresh countryside air, plus the freedom to stretch out and get right into holiday mode. The site welcomes guests throughout the year, with no more than five generous grass pitches equipped with electric meters. Seat House does not accept tents, extending a warm welcome to owners of small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Amenities are limited to the essentials, including a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, drinking water points and chemical disposal. Get back to the basics as you set up camp on this grassy, peaceful site and soak in the stunning views of the fertile Dales countryside. There is no play area, and TV reception varies from bad to unpredictable, making this an excellent site for guests who can make their fun. Bring along your canine companion and a few torches as there is no campsite lighting on the premises. The lack of light pollution ensures glorious views of the shimmering star-studded night sky at night. Just five miles down the road rests the sleepy village of Gargrave, where guests can dine on homemade food or sip on real ales at the 16th-century The Old Swan Inn or the cosy Mason's Arms.
