Common Farm is a peaceful Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, welcoming no more than five touring vehicles, functioning as a Club Members only site. The quiet site rests on a 0.75-acres, on a peaceful working arable farm. Campers can use the farm’s excellent position, sandwiched between York and Hull, as a centre-point for exploring the local area, including the historic city of York with its Minster. There are grassy pitches on a flat, well-maintained field, with electric meters and access to clean yet basic amenities. Common Farm does not provide a toilet block or hot showers, limiting conveniences to drinking water points, chemical disposal, recycling and battery charging. Sit back and soak in the stunning scenery, away from the distractions, noise and hectic nature of city living, and settle in for a peaceful stay, complete with the stunning scenery that comes with camping on the brink of the Yorkshire Wolds. Anglers will need a day or two to test out the well-stocked coarse fishing pond, free of charge for campers. A bridleway near the site is perfect for cycling and relaxed walkies with your canine companion in tow. Amenities and shops are available in the nearby towns of Pocklington and Market Weighton.
