Wake up to clear blue skies and glorious sunrises over the sprawling site that is sheltered from the rest of the landscape by wild woods and rolling fields. There is a fish and chip shop, a cosy pub and curry place a couple minutes’ drive away from Holly Park. Grab some fish and chips to go as you head out for explores, or grab some takeaway on the way back to base after a tiring day of sightseeing. The pub serves a range of local and guest ales and is a great place to pop into for an afternoon of excellent drinks and a chinwag with the cheery locals. The town of Helmsley is under a ten-minute drive away and Thirsk and the coastlines affording fun days out with the family. End the day huddled around the campfire as marshmallows brown in the crackling fire, or set up the grill for a sunset barbeque. Pets welcome.
