Enjoy a busy day out exploring the many attractions in the area, then rumble back to base, turning down the B1222 and the farm drive to kick back and relax on your plot, marvelling at the shades of red, yellow and amber that make up the sunset sky. Pitch or park up in your tent, small campervan, motorhome or caravan and observe an ongoing match in the same field that doubles as village cricket circle and pavilion. There are grass pitches with optional electric connections, evenly spaced out for maximum room and privacy. Amenities include a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, drinking water points, chemical disposal and recycling. There’s ample space on the premises for the youngsters and well-behaved canines to scamper about, enjoying a sense of freedom not found at home.
