Rowntree Park Caravan Club Site is a popular holiday destination located on the banks of the glittering River Ouse, ideally positioned within walking distance of the historic city of York. The site holds approximately 98 hardstanding plots with optional electric connections for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Standard facilities like a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, laundry, drinking water points, gas exchange, recycling and Wi-Fi access are available. Rowntree Park also offers designated disabled-friendly features. The pitches are divided by thick beech hedges, providing guests plenty of privacy from fellow campers while simultaneously providing a scenic treat. Please note that some bases may not be suited for awnings. There is a small tent area for cyclists and backpackers. There is so much to see and do in York; you’ll find the days whizzing by at a surprising speed. Potter around The Shambles, visit the majestic gothic York Minster cathedral, amble along the medieval walls, and take a trip back in time. Rowntree Park is a splendid centre-point for guests who wish to explore the Yorkshire area at a pace of choice. Stroll through the pedestrian gate at the rear to access a parade of local shops, cafes, Indian and Thai restaurants, and several takeaways. Dogs are welcome to tag along.
