Warthill Grange is a quiet, spacious site surrounded by peaceful woodland, just 8-miles from the historic city of York and its plethora of attractions. The campsite rests on the grounds of a private house, ensuring ample security and peace throughout your stay. A short stroll from the base leads to a lovely local pub, the Agar Arms Warthill, making for an ideal reason to treat yourself to a refreshing beverage of choice at the end of a pleasant summer stroll. The camping pitches rest at the back of the house, on a level lawn complete with a glittering pond in the corner. There are generously spaced grass plots for small campervans, motorhomes and caravans with electric meters. Caravan storage is also available for guests who wish to revisit the peaceful site within the year. Warthill Grange is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, accepting no more than five vehicles on the site. Facilities are limited to the bare essentials, with only drinking water points and chemical disposal available on the premises. Access to the site is under the control of the campers via electric gates. The surrounding area brims with wildlife-packed woodlands, so feel free to don walking shoes and head out for a gentle stroll. Dogs are welcome provided they are well-behaved.
