Annstead Farm Caravan and Luxury Campsite blend the best of both worlds, combining the delights of the coast and crumbling castles for a memorable camping escape. The members’ only site lies tucked away amid the enticing Northumberland Coast, an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where lashings of caramel sand beaches and cute seals offer guests a variety of entertaining activities to enjoy throughout their stay. The site rests on a working farm, an estimated 600-acres in size, made up of grass and arable land. Apart from the livestock enterprise consisting of cattle and ewes, the friendly owners also grow wheat, barley, and oilseed rape. There are two campsites on the premises, with the Walled Garden site set aside for guests who prefer an adults-only camping atmosphere. The Farm Site is ideal for families who want a bit of space to let the youngster loose. Both sites are members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and Caravan and Motorhome Club. The owners also inherited three cottages from the previous owners and decided to rent these out as holiday accommodations for guests who prefer self-catering stays. A quick 3-minute stroll from the campsite leads to the spectacular Northumbrian coastline. Potter around the Beadnell and Seahouses villages, set a 15-minute stroll away, explore castles on an estimated 15-20 minute walk, or enjoy boat trips to The Farne Islands and the Holy Island. Dogs are welcome.
