Rye Hill Farm

Sit back and savour the bucolic scenery as you sip on a cold brew and let a gentle smile dance on your lips as you look forward to relaxing days at Rye Hill Farm. The site is one of the most secluded and compact campsites in the area, nestled on a peaceful 300-year old sheep farm, run by the friendliest teams you’ll meet on your camping sojourns. The surprisingly well-tended site also provides self-catering stays in a holiday cottage, plus bed and breakfast breaks in the nearby farmhouse, offering non-campers a comfortable alternative for escaping the modern world. Peaceful countryside settings are the order of the day, so feel free to kick back and enjoy green open spaces, big skies and the occasional sighting of wildlife in this lush, rural landscape. The most scenic parts of Hadrian’s Wall rests just north of the site. Enjoy easy access to local amenities in bustling Hexham and Corbridge, located 15-minutes away by car. There are all grass pitches with optional electric meters for tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. The holiday cottage has three ensuite rooms, providing ample space to sleep seven adventurers for post-exertion unwinding. A converted farm bed and breakfast building holds four well-appointed rooms for guests who prefer a few creature comforts on the road. Dogs are welcome.
