Beautifully tucked away in Upper Coquetdale, Westfield House Farm is a beautiful glamping site set in on a gloriously lush working farm. The site lays amid sprawling green fields of grazing cattle on the fringes of the Northumberland National Park and welcomes guests throughout the year. This fabulous spot is ideal for anyone who wants to escape the stress of modern life for an idyllic, secluded camping holiday. The campsite rests at the end of a private road and boasts of a private haymaking meadow and a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) which houses a range of flora and fauna. Guests can opt to stay in one of the two swish shepherd’s huts or book a stay in the converted stone farmhouse which serves as bed and breakfast. The shepherd’s huts are more than humble camping abodes and feature a variety of creature comforts. There is a full-sized double bed for unwinding after an incredibly tiring day of sightseeing. A well-equipped kitchen features gas ovens and hobs, a dinky fridge, and all the utensils needed for a comfortable stay. Dining tables and chairs are available for days the weather refuses to acknowledge you’re on holiday. Outside there is a campfire with a tripod grill plus tables and chairs for alfresco meals.
