Onneley Cricket Club is a lovely, peaceful CL campsite between a cricket ground and sprawling open countryside. The site provides a friendly family feel and rests across the road from a fantastic thriving pub, the Wheatsheaf Inn, which dates back to 1769. Step inside the cosy pub to rest tired feet around the open fires, and take your pick of tipples and nibbles from the extensive menu in the restaurant. A choice of bars provides an array of alcoholic beverages, making it easy to stagger back to base if you’ve had too many. Golfers need only head to the read of the campsite to hit off a tee at a lovely golf course, whilst the foodies stock up on snacks and essentials at the shop across the road. Pets are welcome.
