Jarman Farm Campsite is a compact 2.5-acre site nestled amid peaceful rural settings, an ideal 5-minute drive from the centre of the historical town of Macclesfield. Spacious pitches are generously spaced out on a lovely working farm, providing campers with an inside look at the functions of a farmstead. Wake up to the sounds of birdsong intermingled with crowing roosters in the flock of traditional chicken on the premises. Sit back and soak in soothing views of the vast pastures sprinkled with grazing cattle and sheep. Sign up for a riding lesson on one of the privately-owned horses on the site, or take a grooming and schooling lesson with the farm animals. A sparkling, well-stocked coarse fishing pond provides plenty to interest the anglers in your group with an enticing opportunity to land carp weighing 20lb and more. Half-day and full-day passes are available at the site. Walkers, cyclists and nature lovers are invited to explore the footpaths, trails and abundance of wildlife on offer in the peaceful Macclesfield Forest a short distance away. The lush woodland area surrounds three sparkling reservoirs, which are home to numerous waterfowl. Jarman Farm is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, with five grass plots for tents and touring vehicles. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
