The Shady Oak is a quiet adults-only pub site next to a shimmering canal, with lovely vistas of Beeston Castle. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the owners have allotted generous pitch sizes for tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. A mix of grass and hardstanding plots, some with electric meters, share access to clean amenities, including hot showers, a washing-up area, drinking water points, chemical disposal, and Wi-Fi access. The adults can spend relaxing afternoons sipping tipples in the spacious pub garden overlooking the canal whilst conversing with locals about the best attractions. Walk off hearty meals of homemade steak pie on the easily accessed public footpaths in the area or stagger back to base after a fun-filled night at the pub. Pets are welcome.
