We don't take bookings but operate a first come first served policy. We accept new arrivals on site daily between 2pm and 8pm.Baysbrown Farm is a lovely campsite tucked away in the small and lush village of Chapel Stile, affording enchanting views of the Great Langdale Valley in the renowned Lake District. Settle in for blissful unwinding minus the crowded lakes and congested roads, savouring the simple life and restful pace of life in the heart of the verdant dale. The farm cosies up to a steep fell on one side, while the other side looks out over three roomy camping fields, gently dipping down to the valley’s shimmering river. Sit back and let a smile of glee dance on your lips as you soak in the stunning campsite surroundings of rolling hills, jagged mountains, and oodles of green open space that serves as your backdrop throughout your holiday. Free spirits will appreciate the freedom to pitch up in a lovely corner that catches the eye. Set up camp and set about planning the activities and adventures to fill your itinerary. The location is beyond perfect for walking, biking and climbing. Attractions like Bowfell, Crinkle Crags, Scafell Pike and The Langdale Pikes are within easy reach, so bring out your route map and explore low-level walking trails and more challenging routes. Baysbrown Farm is a tent-only campsite with no electric connection or hardstanding plots. There owners accept a limited number of campervans when space permits. No motorhomes or caravans. Back to basic camping facilities include a toilet block, hot showers, a pot washing area, drinking water taps and chemical disposal. Pets are welcome.
