Wild Wool Barn is best suited for the no-frills camping types who prize serene settings and stunning vistas over the more commercial camping spaces with oodles of amenities and congested camping. A limited number of tents are permitted on-site for a set number of days annually. The site is a hidden gem providing unrivalled peace and an intimate camping atmosphere, with just six plots on-site – three pitches for two-person tents and three for solo walkers following the Coast to Coast route. Campers share access to a toilet block with showers, freshwater taps, and a washing-up area. Dogs are welcome.
