Woolpack Farm is a scenic glampsite tucked away in the stunning Lake District National Park, providing guests with an excellent base for active days and cosy, starry nights. The campsite rests amid spectacularly scenic surroundings, surrounded by sprawling countryside and rolling mountains, yet affords easy access to the coast, located a smooth 30-minute drive away. Enjoy the benefits of the country around you on a range of open-air pursuits, including limitless walking, climbing, biking, hiking, canoeing, sailing and swimming. Take a 5-minute pedal to the Eskdale Cycle Trail located under 5-minutes’ away, or enjoy water-based antics on the UK’s deepest lake, Wast Water. Hikers and climbers can set their sights on Wasdale Head, the starting point for the tricky Three Peaks challenge, 35-minutes’ away. Rumble towards the coastline to swap views of romantic rural settings for golden sand beaches, seaside amusements, and kid-friendly fun. Kids and grownups can take tours and explore the magical trails of Muncaster Castle. Rumble, ride, or walk back to base with an armful of bits to slap on the barbeque grill or bring out the guitar for a sing-along around the campfire at sunset. Woolpack Farm offers spacious and well-equipped camping pods with woodburning stoves and private decks. Dogs are most welcome to tag along.
