Moss Howe Farm is a tranquil, secluded base providing guests with the freedom to get back into nature, and enjoys the simple joys of camping, like huddling around a campfire. The campsite serves as an excellent base for adventures in the Lake District and enjoys proximity to a range of attractions and locations. Rumble over to Grange-over-Sands, located a smooth fifteen-minute drive away and spend the day exploring the pretty resort town that boasts a wonderfully mild climate and a generous sprinkling of Edwardian flavour. Nature enthusiasts can find much to see and do around the lush countryside around the Grange, so don’t forget to pack in walking shoes to access nature reserves and spot a variety of birdlife. Windermere is the perfect spot for open-air adventures, primarily water-based pursuits. Guests can catch ferries, hire boats, follow scenic footpaths and cycle routes, and explore sleepy villages and buzzing shore towns with ease. Head back to base to bed down on your spacious non-electric grass plot and soak in the sunset views. Guests are welcome to enjoy alfresco dining and barbeques. Campfires are also permitted so whip out the guitar and get the family or group involved in a sing-along. Pets welcome.
