Shepherds Views Holidays is a cheery, family run site set on a sprawling 210-acre farm in Cumbria. The campsite enjoys a convenient position just five minutes from the stunning Lake District National Park, serving as an excellent base for walking, cycling and watersports. Swap the smog-filled cities and the unending blare of traffic with the calming sounds of nature, fresh air, and the wind in your hair. Outdoor adventurers are in for a treat as the campsite offers easy access to several scenic walking routes that cater to all ages and abilities. Wildlife enthusiast’s best pack in the appropriate gear to observe a range of fauna in the area including the elusive red squirrels, playful otters, and majestic eagles. If biking is more your vibe, hop in the seat and pedal along meandering trails cutting across mountains and verdant countryside. Hadrian’s cycleway also passed right by the site, providing hours of adventures. Water-based antics are an hour away, and range from boat hires and launch trips to rafting and canoeing. Head back to base after an eventful day of activity and fire up the grill or huddle around the crackling campfire and kick off a sing-along under the sparkling stars. Pets welcome.
