Kendal Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a lovely park nestled on the outskirts of the world-renowned Lake District National Park, opening up the stunning scenery and peaceful walking country immediately outside the site. The site is perfectly positioned for exploring the golden sand beaches of the coast and the Pennines and rests in proximity to the M6 for accessing adventures further afield. Guests are welcome to rumble by between late March and November and enjoy the stunning views of the fells from most pitches on the premises. The town of Kendal is a few miles away, holding an excellent selection of supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and factory retail outlets. Campers can also set aside an afternoon to explore the attractions in Kendal, including the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Museum of Lakeland Life, and the Kendal Museum. Visit during the month of September to see the towns torchlight procession and stop by for a tour of the crumbling Kendal Castle. Kendal Camping and Caravanning Club Site welcomes tents, small campervans, motorhomes and caravans on a blend of grass and hardstanding pitches with optional electric meters. The standard amenities are available, including toilets, hot showers, washing up areas, drinking water points, chemical disposal, and more. Disabled-friendly features are available, and well-behaved canines are welcome.
