The welcoming park is no more than a mile from the lively historic market town of Kirkby Stephen, affording quick access to local amenities like shops, places to eat and historical attractions. The market town also serves as an excellent base to explore the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which rests close to the southern boundary of the lively settlement. The Coast to Coast walk also passes through Kirkby Stephen and has a range of facilities to offer walkers including excellent places to grab a bite and enjoy a pint. Pennine View is the perfect centre-point for outdoor adventurers who are perfectly positioned for escapades in Lake District National Park and the North Pennines. Spend your days uncovering scenic walking and cycling routes nearby that cater to all tastes and abilities. Head out for gentle countryside strolls, or pedal along exciting mountain bike trails. Fishing folk can mosey over to the lush River Eden and throw a line over trout-rich waters. Head back to base to slap your catch on the grill, and settle in for a well-earned barbeque complimented by sweating can of beer and a glorious sunset. The site offers grass and hardstanding plots with electricity for tents, campervans and motorhomes. Pets allowed.
