Woodman's Huts is a stunning glampsite offering a collection of beautifully handmade shepherd's huts nestled amid the lush settings of the stunning South Lakes. The site rests amid quintessentially English scenery, tucked away in a private woodland area, with just two generously spaced shepherd's huts, affording protection from the cold with insulation courtesy of sheep's wool. Each unit comes furnished for serious comfort and offers stunning views through the trees of the Holker Valley, all the way across to the 16th century Bigland Hall. Wildlife enlivens the enclosing trees, offering guests the delightful sounds of the countryside, far removed from the bustle and schedules of modern life. One of the shepherd's huts sleeps two while the other has ample space to hold four holidaymakers comfortably. Each abode features a private en suite luxury bathroom with a powerful shower, sink and toilet. A few toiletries are available; however, guests are requested to bring along essential items. Whip up snacks, and light meals in the well-equipped kitchen space kitted out with a fridge, oven, ample storage and underfloor heating for days the weather decides to turn full English. Together, the abodes make an ideal group holiday, with a socializing taking place in the communal Arctic Hut, fitted with an indoor barbeque and fire pit. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
