Crossfell Caravan Park is a serene Eden Valley site set in the small, picturesque village of Ousby, approximately nine miles east of the market town of Penrith. The flat grass site offers a splendid countryside setting for unwinding and shaking off the worries of modern life, so come on by, set up camp and stretch out as you soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and a slower pace of life. Enjoy serenity punctured by the calming sounds of birdsong and bleating sheep, as you soak in the fantastic mountain views and enjoy the sights of sprawling, emerald-hued countryside dotted with grazing sheep. Bask in the sun as you sip on a cold drink of choice and enjoy the freedom from do nothing at all. The area around the campsite is perfect for outdoor adventures and affords fantastic walking, rambling, cycling and horseback treks. Hiking trails are available in abundance at the Pennines and the Lake District. Cycling and horse riding enthusiasts need only take a fifteen-minute trot from site to access bike hires and stables. The friendly site handily offers breakfast catering at the site for large groups of approximately twelve people. The owners encourage guests to fire up the grill, slap on meats and other bits and enjoy the thrills of a sunset barbeque and an alfresco meal. Pets welcome.
