Tymparon Hall is a tranquil, relaxing and welcoming park located near the bustling market town of Penrith. The centrally located site is an excellent base for exploring the numerous attractions and mile upon mile of rolling lush landscape from towering mountains to shimmering, watersport-friendly Ullswater, located a short drive away. The Rheged Visitor Centre is a mere 2-miles’ away, offering much in the way of attractions nearby. The camping area rests on the grounds of a posh 18th-century manor house, parallel to a well-maintained and spacious farmhouse garden looking out over mature leafy trees, colourful flowers, and landscaped grounds. Rumble over to pretty Penrith and make this site your centre-point for either active holidays or relaxing escapes in the world-famous Lake District Park. The site remains sheltered to the east by the now disused Penrith to Keswick railway embankment, which runs parallel to the farmhouse garden. Settle in, don walking boots and set about getting better acquainted with this prime national park exploring land, located a mere 4-miles from Junction 40 of the M6. Troutbeck Head Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite welcome caravans, motorhomes and small campervans to set up camp on a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches with optional electric meters. Dogs are welcome.
