The well-maintained site is an excellent base for outdoor adventurers who can easily access a wealth of canalside walks, hikes, and bike rides. Amble through the serene forest, wander across verdant dales, or lean back and soak in the scenic surrounds from the comforts of your plots as you soak in the tranquil ambience and enjoy a slower pace of life from your prime position among the beautiful Pennine Hills. The spacious, grassy campsite lies nestled amid protected woodlands, mist-clad moorlands, romantic, rolling countryside, sleepy villages and historic towns. Enjoy urban days out with the family, and soak in the sights and sounds of the buzzing towns as you enjoy a wealth of local amenities and attractions. If you prefer to swap crowded settings with big skies and space to roam, then stroll into the forests nearby or make your way through the lush landscapes nearby.
