Chantry Farm is a beautiful base for guilt-free camping and glamping where one can return to nature and spend pleasant evenings huddled around the flickering flames of a campfire. The owners ask that all cars remain in the car park and impose a strict no-noise policy to ensure all guests have a peaceful slice of this South Downs haven. Traditional campers can set up their tents for a night (or more) of camping under canvas on non-electric grass pitches. Amenities are limited to a toilet block, a washing-up area, and drinking water taps. Guests who prefer a few home comforts are welcome to book a stay in the lovingly converted orchard hut or the large family hut. Sit back and listen to the sights and sounds of nature on this 54-acre site, tucked amid chalk grassland. Pets are welcome.
