Hastingford Fishery is a secluded, scenic, adults-only site set on a smallholding in the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is an ideal twenty-minute drive from the bustling town of Tunbridge Wells, and no more than a thirty-minute drive from lively Lewes, providing campers with access to a wealth of local amenities including, shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and local attractions. The site is the perfect spot for guests who want to savour the joys of camping without nippers galloping about and creating a rumpus. Fishing fans are ideally suited for this campsite as there are several well-stocked fishing lakes to pick from, allowing fishing enthusiasts the joys of settling down on the banks with a rod in hand, and while away a few hours with a cold one (or three). The owners request that guests use barbless hooks and return fish to the lake as soon as possible. While you cannot use your catch as a meal, the owners do provide barbeques so feel free to stock up on supplies at the nearest town and stroll back to base for a lovely barbie under the sunset sky. Campfires are also encouraged, so feel free to toast marshmallows, or whip out a guitar and burst into song. The site offers a range of swish shepherd’s huts, each with sleeping space for two.
