Housedean Farm Campsite enjoys an enviable and utterly scenic location within the South Downs National Park, providing campers direct access to the renowned South Downs Way, making it an excellent base for peace, scenery and open-air pursuits. The campsite is uniquely positioned to afford access to the South Downs, eliminating the need to deviate from the famous national trail at the end of the day. The family-run campsite rests on a sprawling arable farm with livestock. The friendly family members and the team have continue to offer excellent hospitality and camping conditions since taking the land over 60-years ago. Visitors can blend the serenity and open greenery of the rolling countryside enveloping the park with fantastic coastal capers at buzzing Brighton, located a smooth 6-miles’ away. A handy bus service departing every 15-20-minutes’ stops directly outside the site and rumbles to and from the city, offering a cheap and relatively stress-free way to uncover the scenic surroundings. The owners pride themselves on offering guests an unrivalled location for laidback camping escapes. There are 26 roomy plots, each with a private firepit for tent campers. A collection of beautiful shepherd’s huts are also available for hire. Campfires are encouraged, and pets are welcome.
