The Hare and Hounds Campsite is a laid-back, relaxed campsite ideally located just five minutes from the amusements and attractions of the lively seaside resort of Rye. The inviting golden sands of Camber Sands beach are a fifteen-minute drive away, and a cosy pub serving a variety of bevvies and pub grub is a five-minute trot away. The camping area spreads out over two and a half lush acres, affording heaps of space for the munchkins to run around while adults stretch out and soak in the beautiful surrounds of the High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests who enjoy long walks and scenic bike rides need only ask the site staff for pointers on a range of places to explore ranging from easy family-trails to challenging mountain bike paths at the lush Bedgebury Forest set half a mile away. If seaside strolls are more your vibe, mosey over to the wetlands within Romney Marsh and head out on ambles around the near-empty seafront. Families can enjoy walking, cycling, fishing and rowing on a gleaming lake at Bewl Water located a thirty-five-minute drive away. Head back to base to unwind in your spacious grass plot as you soak in the scenic surrounds, and watch yet another spectacular sunset give way to a clear sky of sparkling stars. Pets welcome.
