This is an excellent campsite for city dweller in need of some serious relaxation, so throw your bags in the car and rumble over pronto for some much-needed peace and change of scene. Non-electric tent camping plots are cut out and evenly spread in a gorgeous wildflower meadow, filling your stay with the delightful fragrances of hand-planted blooms. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birdsong as you take in the golden sunshine spreading its glow over a range of native flowers like poppies, wild orchids and cornflowers. The owners want to preserve the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere on-site and provide the basics for an off-grid camping experience. Communal facilities include showers, a compost toilet, washing up area, and charging facilities. Guests are encouraged to fire up the grill, enjoy alfresco meals, or huddle around the crackling campfire for a sing-along under the stars. The munchkins can skip over to Boydell's Dairy Farm nearby and join in on exciting guided tours that involve feeding the hens, milking cows and making friends with a llama.
