Set up camp on a massive area of parkland, and opt to settle under leafy trees or out on lush grass at Vicarage Farm, a spacious site for caravan members. The pitches are all set out on the grass, and there is a firm gravel track for parking up if the ground becomes too soft owing to adverse weather. This friendly site does not offer any amenities yet rests amid acres of unspoilt land, offering guests a peaceful centre-point for both short and extended stays. The strength of this roomy farm site is perhaps its proximity to the M3, making it an excellent base for an overnight stop to and from the bustling south and its port. Site access is easy for even the most cumbersome touring vehicles, and a combination access code offers peace of mind in terms of security. Despite the site’s proximity to the nearby A3, the campsite is relatively quiet. Some road noise does make its way over; however, tree lead cover makes it easy for everyone to wake up rested and ready for a new day of adventure. There is a welcoming village pub just 2-miles away, while a village shop, plus pubs serving food are just 3-miles’ away. Sorry, no pets are allowed.
