Canterbury Camping and Caravanning Club Site welcomes guests throughout the year, making it an ideal spot for escapes into the stunning "Garden of England", exploring the numerous attractions on offer. Guests are also welcome to use the site as the base for a quick stopover when heading or returning from pleasant sojourns from France. The centre of Canterbury, a lively cathedral city, rests a trifling mile away, and several buses running to and from the city conveniently stop right outside the gates. This World Heritage city offers plenty of incredible sites to explore, including the renowned cathedral St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church. At the same time, the county of Kent brims with explores and adventures of guests of all ages and abilities. Explore the buzzing city in style in a horse-drawn carriage, or soak in the scenery from a different angle on a riverboat. The campsite rests in a sheltered and beautifully maintained area, with 200 pitches set out over a mix of grass and hardstanding. Electric meters, caravan storage and seasonal plots are available if required. Canterbury Camping also provides two Ready to Camp glamping tents, with 2-bedrooms cosy furnishings and an array of little luxuries for a stress-free stay. Pets are welcome.
