Knowler Farm is a family-run site set within peaceful, scenic surrounds, in proximity to wild woodlands and pristine beaches. There are two pubs and a village shop, an ideal ten-minute trot from the campsite. Buzzing Canterbury and the lovely beach of Hythe are a twenty-minute drive from the campsite, affording easy access to urban days out, and family-friendly days of sun, sea and sand. The site enjoys a lovely position, nestled within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, affording heaps of space for stretching out and soaking in the spectacular scenery. A nifty twenty-minute drive leads into Canterbury, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and cathedral city that brims with a wealth of exclusive boutiques, picturesque side streets, specialists shops, pubs and restaurants. Explore the magnificent cathedral, or enjoy a picnic in England’s oldest parks, Westgate Gardens. Observe rare species in one of the oldest woodlands in England at Blean Wood Nature Reserve or settle in for a pleasant afternoon sampling artisan coffees. The site is ideal for families, groups and couples who are keen to spend their vacation exploring the local area, sipping in cream teas down at the local windmill. Guests can pre-order breakfast hampers with meats, eggs freshly baked bread, milk and fruit. Local chefs occasionally pop by on pizza and barbeques days to whip up a storm for the guests.
