The Chequers Caravan Park is a family-run camping space next to East Kent and within easy reach of the bustling city of Canterbury, Folkestone, the Channel Tunnel and Port of Dover. Pitch a tent or park your touring vehicle on a blend of grass and hardstanding pitches with optional electric meters, and settle in for a restful escape from the modern world. The local bus service stops at the gate, and there are several scenic country walks plus bridle paths in the area, providing the active types with plenty of ways to get the heart pumping whilst soaking up the stunning scenery. Site facilities; include a toilet block, a washing-up area, drinking water taps, chemical disposal, and recycling conveniences. Pets are most welcome to tag along. Please note that there are no showers on-site.
