Escape the drone of the modern world at Gate House Wood Touring Park, a pleasantly peaceful, immaculately maintained campsite tucked away in a quiet, sheltered former quarry, enveloped by leafy trees, shrubs and plenty of wildlife. The pitches are all grass and rest on a level, free-draining, spacious field and provide camping sorts with a handy base for exploring the countryside of Kent and its numerous attractions. Dave and Karen Macklin, proprietors of the establishment, are both seasoned caravanners who are in tune with the needs of campers and have successfully provided guests with a well-appointed, safe camping space for both overnight stops and extended vacations. Caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents, and pets are welcome. The site offers standard amenities and then some, including wheelchair-friendly conveniences and an on-site shop.
