New Farm is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site, with just five grass pitches without electricity, attached to a compact garden centre. The roomy pitches rest on a level grass field enclosed by all sides by leaf, tall trees, ensuring an effective barrier from prying eyes, the wind, and the low level of traffic noise, further reduced by the foliage. Guests can enjoy the central location to explore the attractions and activities in Norwich, which rests an easy 20-minute drive away. Despite the site’s proximity to the buzzing city and its ancient cathedral, the rural location is ideal for relaxing and shaking off the complexities of modern life. The closest provision shops rest in the picturesque village of Coltishall, located an estimated two and a half miles away. Coltishall is a scenic and unspoilt village, making it well worth a visit. There are several places to grab a bite or a bevvy, and many pubs serve real ales with live music and bands on most weekends. The friendly owner has a small private museum, fuelled by his interest in aviation archaeology, containing records and artefacts from one of many WWII aircraft that sadly crashed in the area. New Farm is a basic campsite, offering just toilet facilities, drinking water points, and chemical disposal in the way of communal amenities. Sorry, no pets allowed.
