High Sand Creek Campsite is a fab, family-friendly campsite looking out over a quiet salt marsh, with a lovely sandy beach just beyond and the scenic North Norfolk Coastal path running alongside. The peaceful site has generous grass pitches with optional electric hook-ups for tents, small campervans and motorhomes. Communal amenities include a toilet block, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water points, laundry, chemical disposal, gas exchange, and a motorhome point. Recycling conveniences are also available, and there are designated wheelchair friendly amenities on offer. The camping field is relatively level, with overgrown grass left along the edges to mark out the pitches. Shower use if free of charge, and there is an outside shower for washing mud off you and your canine companion after an eventful day of exploration. Get Fido on a lead and amble over to the village nearby or head out for a pint at one of the coastal villages in the area. Wells-next-the-Sea is just 4-miles away and brims with award-winning beaches, heaps of places to grab a bite, mature reserves and viewsome walks. The Norfolk Coast Path runs through the area but is not an ideal starting point for wheelchairs or prams.
