Lighthouse Inn

Lighthouse Inn

Located: Campsites in Walcott, Norfolk

The Lighthouse Inn is a splendid spot to set up camp and uncover the delights of the North Norfolk Coast. Guests will appreciate the convenience of resting a short stroll from an inn and restaurant serving delicious, fresh food and excellent drinks, paired with a lovely, warm atmosphere in the pub and on the camping field. The establishment has occupied a position on the Cost Road at Walcott for over 150-years, offering a place for travellers passing through to rest their heads and refuel after a particularly tiring day. Today, the inn features a lovely green field with generous grass pitches with optional electric hook-ups for small campervans, motorhomes and caravans. The standard communal amenities are available, including toilets, hot showers, a washing up area, drinking water taps, recycling facilities, chemical disposal and Wi-Fi access. There is a children’s playground for the youngest campers to whizz about and make new friends. Water-based pursuits like wild swimming and fishing are available, a mere mile from the campsite, so don’t forget to pack in your swimming gear. The biggest draw is the lovely beach, positioned just ten minutes away from the Lighthouse Inn. End the day huddled up near the log burner, with a pint in hand and a substantial meal at the Inn. Pets are welcome on the campsite and in the pub.
