Ye Olde Swan is a cheery, family-friendly campsite set on a lovely island on the Thames offering guests spacious grassy pitches with electric hookups looking out over the glittering waters and tree-lined banks beyond. The site is the perfect spot for quiet country camping and a strict no noise policy ensures peace and quiet for guests to soak in the stunning countryside scenery and enjoy the soothing sounds of the lake lapping the banks around the site. Kick back at the site and enjoy the views along the water’s edge, or head over the small bridge that connects campsite to the pub and enjoy the excellent ales and tasty meals on offer. The Ye Olde Swan pub once served as a stopping point for exhausted travellers and shepherds and continues to offer delicious homemade grub and refreshing bevvies minus the bleating sheep. Stretch your legs in the stunning Cotswolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or head into the countryside for long strolls and cycling paths. Don’t forget to order a picnic meal or snacks for a lovely picnic by sparkling waters for your exciting day out. The river is ideal for guests who enjoy angling and watersports. Kayaks, paddleboards and canoes are available for hire at the site. Dogs are welcome, and guests are welcome to fire up the grill and get a sizzling barbeque going.
