It rests a mere ten minutes driving distance from the town of Woodbridge that holds a wealth of excellent shops and top-notch pubs. Water-based antics are aplenty at the lovely seaside resorts of Thorpeness and Aldeburgh set just twenty minutes away. The site has a long history with camping, first opening its doors in 1999. Tent campers and owners of campervans, motorhomes and caravans are welcome to set up camp on spacious grass plots with electric hook-ups and enjoy the sights and sounds of the enclosing countryside. The enclosing areas brim with exciting open-air pursuits. Head out for peaceful forest walks at Rendlesham Forest, enjoy a relaxing day of golf at the two golf courses nearby, or enjoy lazy days by the beach at Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. If you're keen to grab some exercise before your next meal, follow a mile long, quiet path leading from the campsite to the nearest pub. The munchkins can burn pent up energy in the play area, and cooped-up canines are more than welcome to come by for a stay with their well-behaved owners.
