The family-run Field Farm Fisheries is a delightful spot for a holiday escape with the family. Fishing enthusiasts can savour the joys of six coarse fishing lakes that afford hours of peaceful angling. Set up camp on spacious plots by the edge of the water, and wake up to the soft trills of birdsong as the sun glides over the clear blue sky, casting a golden glow on the shimmering waters of the ponds. Ideally placed in the thriving town of Wrentham, Field Farm is an excellent base for explores in popular locations like Southwold, Beccles, Halesworth and Walberswick. Anglers of varying skill are welcome to throw a line at this peaceful site, so come on by and try your luck. The camping area looks out over the glittering fisheries and welcomes tents, campers, motorhomes and caravans. Electric hook-ups are available on request, and there is a freshwater supply as well. Communal facilities include a toilet block, showers, a washing up area, and a chemical waste disposal point. When you’re not kicking back and enjoy the tranquil surrounds, head out for a stroll around the campsite or explore one of several peaceful walking trails that cut across farmland and serene countryside. A tackle and bait shop on-site stocks fishing essentials, including fresh maggots. End the day soaking in the spectacular sunset as you fire up the grill and get a barbeque going. Fur babies are more than welcome to stay with well-behaved owners.
