Alison's Woodpecker Camping Field is a friendly, back to basics site ideally located between Bognor Regis and Littlehampton. The friendly site is a leisurely twenty-minute stroll from the dog-friendly beach in the picturesque village of Climping and enjoys a stunning location nestled amid swathes of gorgeous West Sussex scenery. Touring and tent pitches are spread out on two fields facing north and south. Communal facilities include toilets, hot showers, a washing up area, ice pack freezing, charging conveniences, and a drying room. Kick-off your day with a beautiful stroll through the grassy dunes at Climping beach. Gaze out at the ocean as it sparkles in the stunning hues of sunrise, and observe a wealth of birdlife come to life. If you're keen to enjoy a day of sun, sea and sand, make arrangements for a packed lunch at the traditional thatched inn set a five-minute amble from the campsite. Spend the day with the tykes as they splash around in the shallow swimming area, or bask in the sun as the tots' race about and nose around the vast stretch of beach. The beach is also ideal for adrenaline junkies who can indulge in kite surfing and windsurfing. For more beach escapes mosey over to Littlehampton set a ten-minute drive away and fire up the grill on this barbeque friendly stretch of coast. Trot back to base for more sizzling alfresco eats as you soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and enjoy an uninterrupted view of the glittering night sky. Pets welcome.
