Yurtworks

Yurtworks is one of the first companies to offer yurt camping in the UK and now provides adventuring sorts an entertaining and reputed space for kicking back in comfort and tranquillity, surrounded by lush natural surroundings. The yurts enjoy an enviable location on the fringes of the Bodmin Moor, with the soothing sounds of a flowing river in the valley below pairing well with birdsong and the calls of nocturnal animals. The moors rest beyond the sparkling river, providing a sense of peace and feeling of being away from it all, making it easy to forget the stress and complexities of life in the big cities. The nurtured heathland is home to a variety of wildlife, including nosey badgers, frolicsome foxes, busy otters, timid roe deer and beautiful butterflies flittering between wildflowers. There are just three yurts, each nestled in a private patch, on a deck, with hammocks, den making equipment, and barbeques to help you get in the spirit of your digital detox. Sign up for an all-day bushcraft and nature awareness course. Learn essential skills like fire safety, how to prepare a fire, different types of tinder, knife skills, experimenting with different kinds of shelter, and how to skin and prepare a rabbit for cooking. Dogs are not welcome at present.
