This peaceful site combines picturesque settings and a relaxed atmosphere with stays in one of three Sioux-style tipis. This hidden gem rests in a lush, secret woodland glade on a sprawling 280-acre beef, sheep and arable farm looking out over a shimmering lake in Plymouth. Owner Brian Howlett and his family manage the farm, and they extend a warm welcome to glampers of all ages who want nothing more than to get away from it all and escape into nature. Grab a cold drink of choice, and listen to your favourite tunes as you soak in the stunning views of Dartmoor, paired with grazing Highland cattle and sheep grazing in the fields at the entrance of the clearing. The three tipis lie in a group at the top of the meadow, spaced far enough for privacy yet close enough to be sociable, making it an ideal stop for group escapes. The units feature raised mattresses, a wood burner to keep the cold at bay and cook with, a gas stove, pots, crockery, cutlery, and an outside barbeque. Spend lazy evenings watching the sun go down over the trees as you cook up a delicious feast on a crackling campfire by the lake. As this is a working farm, no pets are allowed.
