Make your Cornish debut at Lamarth Farm Campsite, a lovely farm site that invited camping sorts to enjoy an informal escape on a peaceful working farm. There is no livestock on the farm, but campers can expect to hear rumbling tractors alongside the murmur of chickens and ducks who provide fresh eggs for breakfast. Stock up on eggs and other bits from the farm shop, and head back to your pitch for an alfresco barbeque, soundtracked by the sounds of birdsong – what a way to start the day. From here on, it’s really up to you and how you want to spend the day. Divide your time between the South West Coast Path, Poldhu Beach, Gunwalloe Church Cove, and the pet-friendly Dollar Cove, all located within 5-10 minutes of the campsite. Alternately, sit back and soak up the scenery as you ponder what to toast over the campfire at sunset. Pets are welcome.
